hmc150 with VariZoom FlowCam DV Sportster

I've got a glidecam hd 2000/hmc150 and I'm looking for a vest rig to help for extended periods of time. I'm a beginner with it, and do very simple shots. Plus, it's my own $$$ i'm spending. I feel like I do pretty good, but I want to get better. I'm not making motion pictures, just simple corporate videos. I've seen the VariZoom FlowCam DV Sportster listed online for $759. It seems like a great price compared to some of the others I've been looking at. Does anyone have any experience with this thing or can anyone tell me if it's junk or not for a beginner? I'd rather spend the extra dollars on other items I need if the more expensive models by glidecam are just overkill or just as good.

I use a Varicam Ultralight with my HMC150 - like a Glidecam and I can say the build quality is great, I wouldn't doubt the quality of their products as they've been making great gear like zoom and focus controllers for years.
