[SOLD SOLD SOLD]

I haven't used my Panasonic HMC150 in about six months now, so I think it's time to let it go. Camera is in excellent condition, no scuffs or scratches on the body or the glass. Reported hours bugged out and now reads 24042h, but I would estimate this is definitely under 200h of use in its lifetime. Comes with the standard battery and charger, as well as a high-capacity VW-VBG6 battery and second charger, and the AC adapter for powered usage. Also comes with a very nice hardshell Opteka case that fits the camera very nicely. I can throw in a 4GB SD card, though that is admittedly pretty tiny. The Rode NTG2 is also in excellent condition, comes with the original leather(?) case, foam windsock, an XLR-to-XLR cable and an XLR-to-3.5mm cable.

$2100 OBO for everything shipped from Seattle. Additional pics of anything available upon request. PM works alright, email at eli.sheldon [at] gmail.com is preferred. Let me know what you think!

ya, just wondering why it freaked out... was that a common problem among the 150's? Anything else acting peculiar??

Yeah, I've got no idea what happened. I haven't really heard of it happening before, but I haven't looked around. It behaves perfectly well otherwise :)

There has been one other seller on the forums who had that problem too. It's somewhere in the HMC150 forum.

I'm the other seller. I did some research and found it is semi common. I also contacted Panasonic and they acknowledged the problem, and told me that I could ship it to a service center in NJ if I wanted to. It doesn't affect any of the other functions of the camera though, so it's not worth the time, hassle and money. It's just an annoyance when you try to sell it. :)

Here are some other posts that reference it:

To respond to jhroney's email generally, I'm not interested in selling the microphone separately. Not yet, at least.

Thanks for calling out the other hours issues :)

Camera is sold, I'm now debating between selling the mic and buying an external SLR recorder. I will start a new thread for the mic and contact those that already expressed interest if I go that route.
Thanks all!
