HMC150 Training?

Other than Barry's excellent book, are there any other training materials for the HMC150? Would the HVX BootCamp DVD contain enough relevant information to useful for potential HMC150 users? I'd like to get the wife and a few friends trained on the HMC150.
 
Somewhat, yes, but ... I wouldn't want to represent it as being definitely appropriate. Many of the menu settings are very similar, but the HMC150 is two generations later than the HVX we did the BootCamp DVD off of.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't get it, I mean, you may think it's perfect, I don't know. But I would be hesitant to say "absolutely, it's perfect" because I like to under-promise and over-deliver. I will say that much of it would be relevant and applicable to the 150, but none of the sections on workflow will apply (P2 isn't AVCCAM), and stuff about the FireStore and P2 Viewer won't apply... basically I don't think Volume II would have anything valuable for an AVCCAM user. Volume I, probably. Lots would apply. Just not everything (variable frame rates, obviously; standard-def recording, obviously...)
 
I'm mainly looking for something that would teach them the basic principles behind operating the camera. They are probably similar enough that it would work. Have you considered doing an HMC150/HMC40 video? ;)
 
Considered, yes. Done it? No, not yet... there are two other big projects in the pipeline that we have to get finished off first.
