HMC150 Screen Invert for DOF Adapter Use ?

I got my HMC150 2 days ago.

I had read on a forum that it was possible to invert the image on the LCD viewfinder to eliminate the need for such function being integrated into a Depth of Field adapter, and thus elimination additional glass.

I don't know if what I read was correct. I find no way to invert the image in such a manner.

I did, though, discover how to reverse the image in the viewfinder for self-portrait type shooting. (not the same thing as what I am looking for.)

Any thoughts?

thanks!

Just got this camera on Friday and this was one of the first things I wanted to know how to do.

Go into the menu, then SW MODE. Scroll down to LCD, which is the very last item. Change it from LCD BL to LCD REV. Exit the menu and press the LCD button to invert the image.

Keep in mind though that this only inverts the image in the LCD, sadly we still need to invert the image in post - you'd think after the amount of people using 35mm Adaptors with the DVX & HVX, Panasonic would have done the smart thing (as JVC did with the ProHD 200 & 250 series) and also inverted the captured image right...? It would be nice if they offered this to us in a firmware upgrade.

Ah hah! I couldn't find this anywhere in the manual.

Thanks!

I'd rather reverse the image in post than spend the extra $ for the optical reversal.
