I live in a remote part of the midwest and have very few options for evaluating the HMC150. Does anyone happen to know of a reputable frim that can rent a HMC150 for a week at a reasonable rate and is understanding regarding shipping delays?

If you can't find somebody local, you can buy one from B&H and try it out. If you don't like it, you can return it if you don't use it more than 2 hours.

I wish there were more rental options for this camera. I live in NYC and I don't know of anyplace that rents it.

I tested one at a local video equipment company. If a company sells them around you they might be willing to let you test one.
