This has the option to burn in timestamp correct?

[rustyrehl]

Yeah from what I have read it should have the option for a time date stamp if you want to use it for surveillance or something. How well does this camera work for live broadcast? How is the dynamic range and the audio?

[MichaelTiemann]

I verified that it does do both time, date, and time/date stamp. I used it for live broadcast--it works very well. The dynamic range is exactly what you'd expect from a panasonic video camera: if you shoot a 10-stop chart, you get 10 stops on your waveform monitor. The audio preamps are solid. It really is a fine camera, a very "pro" prosumer camera.
