HMC150 footage Directly to DVD

Hey guys. Got an easy gig tonight recording a sporting event for a coach. He just wants the footage directly from the camera on a DVD. The only way I know of is ingesting through FCP and then exporting and burning. Is there another faster method to get this simple task done? I have to do this tonight so quick responses are appreciated!

Since he is talking about FCP my guess he is on a Mac. Edius is Windows software isn't it?

So, FCP log & capture, drag to the timeline and share to DVD.

Yeah, I know what you mean--I no longer do that anymore. I sell them on an edited version.

Hey thanks for all the replies. Took me 3 hours to log and transfer, export, and burn to dvd. Didn't have the copy to him till 4 hours after the game. We arranged that ill just give it to him the next morning in the future.
