HMC150 firmware hack?

While it is absolutely great that the gh13 is getting lots of well deserved attention, I have had no luck in finding anyone exploring ways to hack the hmc150 firmware to improve bitrates, increasing HDMI streaming output to a higher bit level, etc.. If anyone is aware of work towards improving the hmc150 firmware would you share that information here.

I'm new to video but in browsing around I found a statement (one on this board I think) from tester13 the GH1 hack guy saying that nanoflash type of recorders will start hiting the market in the next year for 10th the price of nanoflash. Why screw up your warrenty with a hack (if your camera is still under warrenty), when a little patiance gives you a cost effective hardware solution. All that been said I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a hack.
