Hello Guys.

Here's a link to the show we put together for the 2009 Chicago Marathon
http://www.runnersultimatenet.com/

This year we did a skeleton crew with only 2 cameras (HMC150 and FX1) a big difference from last years coverage with 5 cameras (all Sony)
Also a small change from last year, this years episode aired the day after the Marathon, not the same day (we were going crazy last year)

It took me an entire week to get well after being out on the cold (30 to 42 degrees) for like 10 hours... but it was fun!

Is not our best work, but please feel free to comment! and yes i know the quality of the video is not optimal and looks pixelated but what can i say! (I'm not in charge of that)
:dankk2:

Sorry about having to recooperate form the cold lol. But hey if it was fun I guess it was worth it yeah??

Video was pretty good - i liked it. Definitely not even close to optimal quality with the streaming on that site.. I'm sure that's disapointing. Makes you feel like what's the point of shooting it in hd in the first place right.

:bath:

yeah, video looks really crappy in that site... it goes from AVCHD to ProRes then compress down to DV anamorphic to be edited with the FX1 footage, once done they output to DVD to give to the webmaster witch later rip the DVD and made it flash.

I wish i could have some control over that, i would skip alot of those steps forsure!

at least the dish/cable version looked better =)

At the end of the day, it was a good feeling knowing we pull it off with only 2 cameras VS 45000 runners!

I came out in NBC's broadcast, at about 1:26 I'm the one with the blue stripped beanie hat behind the translator.
