I'm not affiliated with Panasonic, so that's one reason why they wouldn't know me. :)

But the "initial failure" wouldn't apply if you had it for a few months, that's for something that fails right away or shortly thereafter, and it's something you would work out with your dealer.

hahaha ok barry, i just didnt want to leave you on bad terms with them if you were, so when they said that i figured you werent affiliated but i thought maybe you were connected to them some how........i just did want to give any one a bad name or place blame on anyone...so i thought changing the subject was best haha. but yea, everything is sorted out. the camera is on its way to the repair center, it should have a 3 day turn around and then they ship it VIA 2 day air. i should have it back by the 24 at the latest....fingers crossed. but thanks a lot barry and everyone else :)
