Finally had the time to put the Century Optics 1.6 telephoto from the old DVX kit on the HMC150 and surprise...no vignetting.
The main problem with the lens on the DVX was the vignetting on wide shots: had to be aware of where the corners of the frame started to go soft and stop short of that.
Expected the same or worse on the 150. What a pleasant surprise.
The only quirk I've noticed so far is that the focus distance readout in the viewfinder is away off when the telephoto is attached. I was doing some testing at about 25 feet and the readout was telling me that the focus was set at about 14 feet.
Cheers,
George
