HMC150 Audio Question

Hi. I will be testing a hmc 150 at a video dealer today. I want to bring my sennheiser mic along. Here's my question:

On my current camera, the canon hf100, I use the sennheiser with an xler adapter. The adapter has a setting which allows me to put the audio from the single sennheiser onto both the right and left audio tracks.

When I plug the sennheiser into the xlr of the hmc150, can I do the same thing. If so, how do I do it?

Plug it into XLR 2, then set the switches inside the LCD panel so that both channels are receiving their input from input 2. Be sure to turn phantom power on for channel 2, and set it to MIC level instead of LINE level.

Yes, switches on the side allow L and R channels to be set to whatever you like
