Just a single scrap clip. 720p60 w/a 120 shutter. I don't want it popping up in my video list, so use "hmc40fish" as the password.

HMC40 -> 43mm UV Filter -> 43/58mm Step-Up Ring -> 58mm Spacer -> 58mm Opteka "Death" w/o Shade

Looks like something along the lines of FailBlog. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I would have liked to have the ability to download a clip, it does not need to be that clip, just to see how it looks in full resolution. The adapter looks OK at the resolution I can see, but it's nice to be able to see it at the highest resolution.

I'll take the CA over having to to worry about an $800 lens being so close to the action. I figure that people are paying more attention to the action at the center of the shot than the outside of it, anyway.

Anyway, it should be identically wide to that of the Century, so it'll give anyone wondering an idea of what to expect.

First of all, thanks for posting the full resolution version of the clip.

Yes, there is CA and a drop in sharpness around the edges of the image. As we look inward in the frame, the image looks much better.

The argument can be made that IF one wants the perfect image, the 58mm Opteka 0.3x is not the best choice, ---> BUT <--- for what you are doing, the imperfections around the edges don't really matter. I'm willing to bet that the average viewer is so focused on the center of the image, they aren't looking at the outer parts.
