HMC for cold weather, snowboarding?

I have been considering a HMC-150 or DVX100B. I was wondering how the camera operates in cold weather, and the look you get when snowboarding, I know it has O.I.S so it shouldn't be like FX7 which is a joke. What would you recommend DVX or HMC? I will be using it almost everyday for hours... if that helps, I have a new Aluminum Macbook and I know you don't need firewire for the HMC, so that eased the pain of getting dooped by Apple, but I do have an old PC with firewire incase i get the DVX. If someone could show some footy from snowboarding or skiing it would be much appreciated, though i understand it is May.

Thanks for all the help!

hey!

my HMC151 is 90% for Snowboardfilming and i have no problems with the focusring. Even if its cold + high atmospheric humidity!

I think this camera is a very good choice for snowfilming.
The Images you can get from these little toy are awesome..

Most of the images have motion and fast pans in it. (motion blur)
The Pics comming straight from the cammera, captured with VLC, no CC or anything else.

Thanks they look really good! Do you think you could upload a snowboard clip or two I haven't seen any on the internet.

Hey Steffen, nice to finally see some of your HMC stuff. You definitely post some video links ;)

nfc565 footage looks really good, defiantly think I'm gonna pick a HMC now. One question, did you use a step up ring for that fisheye? How large is the HCM150 front thread?
