HMC-40 and camera flashes - and Burt Reynolds!

I've heard about the cmos rolling shutter issue with regard to camera flashes, but I've never experienced it. Here is a link to one of my recent video assignments where the photographer shot multiple flash frames of the interviewee - Burt Reynolds!!! - while I was filming with the HMC-40. This should give you a good idea how the videocamera handles flashes.

Yes, I've experienced it with 24p, 1/24 and speedlights.

do you remember what frame rate/shutter speed did you use?

yes, 1080/60i

1/60 shutter speed
