HMC 150 - what's in the box?

So coming from a DVX, I just placed an order for a HMC 150 PJ on amazon.

Can someone list what exactly is in the box?

From what I hear it's not quite exactly what I got in the box with my DVX100B... the biggest battery.. a battery charger etc.

just wanna confirm and figure out what extras i need to buy to get her up and running.

The included battery lasts about 90 minutes, so it's far from "worthless". But if you want a bigger battery you'd have to buy that separately.

It includes battery, charger, AC power cord, component cable, etc... no memory cards included in the box.

Slightly on-topic.... can anyone explain what those ferrite cores are for? Mine are still in the box - I swap out HDMI cables constantly and wasn't sure which cable to attach them to.

I haven't actually checked the manual yet -- I'll do that if nobody has an answer off the top of their head.

They are used on both of the provided USB and HDMI cables to reduce electromagnetic interference.
 
Thanks for that scanned page! That was awesome.

Just another question, so from the picture it seems the small battery VW-VBG260 works with the supplied AC Adapter charger, but will the big battery VW-VBG6 also work with that AC Adapter charger? I suppose it should... but would the big battery stick out a lot out from the charger or something?
