HMC-150 w/ LEX and nikon lenses

Out of those lenses which do you like the most? My Nikon 50mm 1.4 will be here tomorrow morning.

I think for a lot of those really wide shots I would have preferred to see footage without the adapter. It doesn't really do much for me then. I like closeups with the adapter though ;)

looked excellent!!! on some of those shots did you add a vignette effect? or was that the adapter? regardless, i liked it a lot!

(and hell yea, crystal castles!!!!!)

I would say the 24mm. I would have used stocked lens for the wide shots, but I was testing my lenses and adapter. The 24mm gave some cool looks on some close ups i did. The vignetting was actually my fault. Normally, i would go by what I see on my LCD screen to determine if lighting was good, or if vignetting was occurring. But I read that most people zoom into z73, so I did, and I thought the edges of the LEX were out of the frame (which it wasnt), it was too wide for the nikon lens, and in turn caused the vignetting. I would never do that for a paid gig, obviously, but stylistically I do like, and in it turn I edit the video around that. But the blacks and white disappeared during the upload. man o man.

I definitely liked the colors. Did you do any color corrections? Did you use any ND filters for these shots? Or did you utilize the built in ND and iris?

I loved the wide pans. They are great!

I noticed some square artifacts at the beginning when the car drove by....was that done on purpose?

Yes. I did some CC in MB. I used the built in ND filters in White Sands, it was WAY to bright there, hard to judge how much exposure I needed.

Are you referring to the color blocks as artifacts?
