I thought the capture quality was really good. Seemed to have a good variety of shots with a decent flow. I didn't like the vignetting on it though. Thought it seemed a bit distracting; after the first view I'm not sure if it was due to the use of a vignette or the actual vignette settings itself.

What capture setting did you use?

What compression settings did you use?

I think its really nice and the vignetting takes away form you good capture

Ditto on the vignetting. Maybe a few sepia shots would have given viewers the same "yesteryear" type feel?

Loved the shots, but also missed the wonderful sounds that the old steam engines make!

Colors, quality and resolution looks great. Keep vignetting for just first 20 seconds or so, no more than that. Remove the shot with the teen snapping a photo.

ps--This is in Lancaster, right? Took the family on this train back in 2009 on our Lancaster trip. Had a nice time. Love the old engines!

Thanks for the input. I changed a few things around including dropping the vignetting.

I shot it all in 720/60p transcoded to ProRes 422 (LT) and used a H.264 Compression. Do you have any suggestions on a better work flow.?
