HMC 150 Jerk start zoom???

Greetings, I'm about to place my order at B and H for the HMC 150! I've had a DVX100B for about 4 years and love it! One thing I dislike about the DVX is the little JERK when you are trying to feather in to a sneaky zoom. Does anyone know if the problem has been remedied on the HMC 150.

Th only time I ever notice any kind of jerk when zooming is when I first switch it to the servo. There is a little "kick" when it picks up the gear but after that it is fine.

The dvx servo gears just seem a bit Loose..you zoom in check focus...roll..prepare for a buttery zoom out...and just as you engage..it jerks and then the rest of the move is buttery. I'm hoping the HVC 150 has butter from the get go:dankk2:

I think they fixed it, or I have never noticed it.

You wont like the Libec zoom control then. I noticed trying to feather start it thinks you are zooming then stoping, zoom stop zoom stop... So you have to get a little past that point for it to work smoothly.
 
Just recieved HMC 150. Yee haa! The zoom rocker is excellent! No glitches on sneaky pull outs or zoom ins! Utopia. Lovin it! Buttery smooth. Thanks Panasonic.
