HIV PSA shot with Mini35

That DOF is freakin AWESOME and the bokeh is sweet. What lenses did you use with the Mini?

Good Job BTW, just incase you couldn't tell I loved it.

wow, that adapter has amazingly sick image.

bokeh is beautiful!!!!!!

yeah, ditto on the" what lenses did you use.."

The lenses were regular super speeds you would get from rental house whne you rent out the adapter-- i think those were Zeiss primes. We had a full set but we only used 50mm adn 85mm.

yeah it was funn to shoot it as we didn't have much gear only 2x 1.2 HMI and a small genny. My crew was great (as always if the production follows my recomendations) so it was a breeze to shoot.

Really nice work. Clean and beautifully sharp. Have you used the M2 how does it compare. How did the spot look on TV!

M2 doesn't really compare mostly baceuse of the lenses. With Mini35 you are using high end film lenses from rental places those are much faster, sharper and less prone to flares. With M2 you are using photo lenses moroever you loose a bit more light. Still i would rather shoot with M2 then without.

i found the Mini to eat Heaps of light though patryk. I think the fast Zeiss' make up for it but, over all, the Mini is just better built and designed. it has nice little features like a Focal plane marking so you can measure to the inch where to focus.

the M2 can be used with cinema lenses - you just need to purchase the PL mount so I think the image from the M2 can be comparable

the m2 looses less light then the mini35 for sure (given that you test with the same lens) because the mini35 hasmore optics to flip the image - i would estimate about 1.5 stops light difference.

Also - the m2 has a focal plane mark - the handle at the top of the m2 is set at the focal plane.
