hit-men movies

[Knoxworth]

Isn't Pale Rider's main character a priest?

Or is he a priest turned hit man?

My bad, I meant Unforgiven.

I gotta say that Pierce Brosnan did a great job in The Matador.

Here's another upcoming that stars Ben Kingsley:
http://imdb.com/title/tt0796375/

[Super Trooper]

Pulp Fiction

Kill Bill (kind of)

[Capt Quirk]

Love and Bullets, Charlie with Charles Bronson and Jan Michael Vincent. What about the other Bronson flicks, Death Wish 1-4? He's not really a contracted hitman, more of a vigilante. Electra would technically count too. And while The Mexican isn't about a hitman, it does feature the first gay hitman I ever saw.

[Knoxworth]

Death Wish doesnt count. Revenge flicks are the exact opposite of a hitman. Personal vendetta VS. paid gig.

The day of the jackal - Edward Fox

[thartley]

And while The Mexican isn't about a hitman, it does feature the first gay hitman I ever saw.

Have there been others??

[Capt Quirk]

Gay hitmen? None that I've ever seen, but I don't watch as many movies as some of you guys.

[DeadEyesSmiling]

My cornball favorite: The Long Kiss Goodnight

[Capt Quirk]

There was a Bruce Willis flick a couple years ago, and it just had a sequel not long ago- A guy moves into a new house and discovers his neighbor is a hitman. Can't remember the name of it though...

Hi, Terri!!! It's good to see you back again. This place has sorely missed your touch.

I HAVE READ THIS THREAD AND RE-READ THIS THREAD AND I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT NO ONE HAS MENTIONED:

The Day of the Jackal

Possibly the greatest hitman movie made. Perhaps everyone on the site is too young to remember it and I'm just aging myself.

[ade4all]

i mentioned it a few posts above

[Capt Quirk]

And I haven't seen it.

I think Traffic had a gay hit man in it (the guy that Del Torro's character hunts down in the US).

[Mars United]

also ... Ichi The Killer features a hit man of an unusual sort ...

I think that was The Whole Nine Yards.

[Capt Quirk]

And two other films I haven't seen.

[Rubix³]

The Fifth Horseman - my first film ever.

The Day of the Jackal is a classic. I also thought the Professional was an great movie.
