[TD="class: alt1, bgcolor: #DADADA"]'d like to share with you guys my newest film, it's a web series about the escapades of two hit-men (Max & Bernie) who lets put it kindly are rubbish at their job, they often kill the wrong person, get beat up, but they always come out on top.

I'm a student film maker from liverpool and I would appreciate it a lot if you could check out my films and tell me what I need to do to improve them and tell me what you think of them in general. They are no budget and shot on DSLR's and using a zoom h1 for audio. People have seemed to like our films so far but I would like to get some professional opinions. Please take the time to watch them.

Please take a moment to watch them, they are funny and it would help me get some exposure for my work. Thanks.

If you do enjoy them, we have a facebook page you could check out with photo's and all kinds of funny stuff @

the sound of ep3 is already better then the pilot... But it still needs some "detail improvement", remove all disturbing sounds (even in TV-playing-ambience-sounds or other ambience sounds).
Don't just put "a sound" and "let it go".

How did you capture the sound ? Which mic ? It's possible to tweak it a bit with some EQ and lite compression.

2:14: that line sounds weird (shifting left./right a bit)

2:18: strange stuff... so this is some kinda a guy with a camera watching the place ?

the sound of the footsteps in the woods are tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fast.... watch the steps of the guys, watch the ritm....
Or do I hear other steps there ?

When you want to do walking shots in that kinda place with leaves and brunches.... Just don't do it... "They stand still when they talk, ha !!! how coincidental" :-p
Or remove the leaves and brunches, put some blankets or so to walk on so there's no "walking on leaves sound"

Some wind in the mic.

Here and there it needs some "more detailed mixing"

Hits and punches are the most difficult SFX to create... it's not just "one sound", it exists out of 3 or 4 layers (or more)

About the film/Story itself. It's not bad.... But I think it can still improve. But it was fun also...

For example at the beginning, switch the questions. "OK, 2 questions, one, why are you wearing my grandmothers robe and two......"
