HipHop Music Video

Very nice job. The indoor shots were my favorite of all of them, although when you could see the ceiling lights i wasnt entirely happy with that, like all the shots when the camera is to the singer's right hand side, were the best lit ones. Very nice, he has talent. If you dont mind me asking, what was the overall budget for the video

bro, this is a nice freakin piece as is! b roll will enhance it but damn dude, you pulled it off well!

i love the hook on the song too...

Me, too. That's probably my favorite series in the video.

Can't discuss rates in a public forum, but I will say that both client and myself feel we both got a good deal. Basically, this took 13 hours of my time (5 hours of which I spent watching TV waiting for the "background dudes" to show up). I did quite well considering. Happy customers are repeat customers, as I always say!

Like the video. We gotta get a collection of indy hip hop videos together.

You film booters? I've meet so many people on this forum who used/do film aggro. I want those skates from your homepage photo.

Who makes better videos? Inliners or Skateboarders?!

yeah I am a freestyle rollerblader. I film alot of skating, im actually working on a full blown, long-form documentary about rollerblading along with a pro skate video. Not just because I do it, if we're talking about the best of the best, its pretty close but thhere are a couple rolling filmmakes actually who are friends of mine, and can blow away other filmakers in extreme sports. Specially the brown brothers from |B| Unique.

go to: www.buniqueonline.com, and then go to studio projects and watch both "Eleven Thirty One" and "Freestyle Rolling" trailers. They were both shot on 3chip cameras, Gl1's, gl2's, and XL1's. Edited in FCP. Quality and professionalism are unmatched.

Well I just finished watching the video and I have a couple of remarks.

1. between 2:35 and 2:38 there is something in the outside shots that I can't determine what it is , but it's noticeable.

You noticed it too? I thought it was outside I thought it was a jib or something!

Artistiam

Yes I noticed it as well. I saw it in a couple of other shots but those were the best seen ones. I don't know what it is but if I noticed it on a small window on my computer I'm sure i would see it if it was on my 29 inch tv
