HILLS GREEN teaser trailer (GH13 feature film)

Been watching the other thread on this :)

Really nice look, oddly, the opening shots (city/road) and the field/panoramas/vistas are my favourite, really nice Ana style...

You've got the visuals licked, now I'd like to know more about the story (and that's what a good teaser should do!).

Looking forward to hearing dialogue in the next teaser (so we get story hints).

Anyway, as everyone is saying, nice work

Looks great. Love the anamorphic bokeh.
Thanks!

Looks fantastic! Good luck with it!
Thanks a lot John!

Looks great, you guys.
Hacked GH1 kills.
Many thanks Kholi, hope all is well on your film!

Beautiful!
Thank you!

Glad you like it Roei!

Thanks a lot! The story is nearly as simple as it looks. And the 2.5 minute trailer will indeed have some dialogue.

Looks great... gorgeous anamorphic flares! I'm really curious about the story also.
Hey, thanks for watching! Like I said above, we have a pretty simple (narratively speaking) story, but there are definitely some surprises, as in life.

This looks great Ryan! I downloaded it and played it on my bigscreen and it looks fantastic. Shame it wasn't a full HD vimeo download :(

You must be buoyed by the success of the 7D Sundance feature LIKE CRAZY which just sold for 4mil. I've seen a few scenes from it and your film looks just as good, if not better...I'm sure if the acting and story is as compelling as the visuals it's destined for big things.

How did you handle exposure without HDMI out? Did you just go by the +/- exposure guide/the histogram/or the SD composite out for example?

I'm planning to shoot a feature on the gh13 this year, and am thinking if I should upgrade to the gh2.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Well done again and keep us posted on what happens with the film.

Thanks! It's very cool that Like Crazy sold for big bucks. It is definitely not image quality that is holding back indies anymore.

For exposure I used just the +/- and the lcd/evf images, we didn't have a monitor on the shoot.

If we were to shoot the film now instead, I may choose the GH2 for the 24pN and the hdmi out but I havn't gotten a chance to test that camera yet. I would want to see how it handles wides outdoors, because the GH13 is great at that.

Will keep everyone posted on the film for sure. I want to start a comprehensive thread in the User Films section but can't find the time.

Thanks again.
