Highlights rolloff

Dark Side of the Camera
Just a little heads up, regarding highlight rolloff and TipEx blotches on faces.

Knee setting: 105% and slope +5 in combination with Cinegama 2 does a nice job here.

You pay for it with lowlight sensitivity and some noise.
But you don't have to shy away from highlights anymore and when you expose correctly, it´s fine.

Try this out if you want:

Black Level (variable - start at 0 and adjust to your scene)
Gamma: Cinetone2
Black Gamma High +7
Knee: 105% and slope +5
Colormode: Cinematone2 +8
Color Level -2
Colorphase 0
Depth: R+4, G+7, B+7, C+7, M+4, Y+7
WB-Shift R-B, R-7, B0
Detail: Level 0, Manual ON, BWType3, Limit4, Chrispening5,

I really like this profile, Frank. It's eerily similar to one I've been rolling out a lot lately.

Black Gamma: +8
Gamma: Cinematone1
Black Gamma: High, +7
Knee: 100, -1
Color Mode: Cinematone 2, +8
Color Level: -2
Color Phase: -1
Depth: R -2, G +3, B +4, C 0, M 0, Y +2
WB Shift: LB-CC, LB -3, CC -3, R -1, B +1

I think I like your color depth settings better. Have you found the higher the values, the less noise you get?

Can anyone post frame grabs of this profile? On location working as an AC and won't get to play with this for another week but I'm curious =)

Frank, is there a typo on WB-Shift? I think (in fact I tried it) that a value of R-7 will render the image too cool, too in the blue. A value of -3 or -2 might be more appropriate, No? What is your opinion about this?
