These are supreme low use, like new lens purchased from RP Lens as a set for $3500.00. Mine were made from new old Nikon stock. These are essentially new lenses. Everything about them is excellent. Phenomenal image. Phenomenal condition.
RP Lens prime sets are an excellent and affordable choice for use with super 35mm and full-frame cameras. These are still photographic lenses that are upgraded to work in the digital cinema world. Lenses are hand-picked from suppliers across the globe. Only choice glass is chosen.
The lenses are serviced and cleaned before they are given their Cine-Still Upgrade.
The Cine-Still Upgrade consists of three parts:
1. The lens mounts are taken apart, the click stops are removed and the iris ring is dampened, for smooth and precise cine lens like setting.
2. A custom cut Black Delrin 32 pitch gear is press-fit on the focus barrel. A precise cut insures a snug and solid fit to the barrel.
3. A custom made black anodized aluminum step-up to 80mm OD or 95mm OD Lens Front is added for a match up to common matte box step-down rings. A snug-fitting push-on cap is provided.
All of these mounts will interchange through adapters on the lens, or adapters on the camera.
These Cine-Still prime sets have been used with great success on cameras such as: ARRI Alexa, RED Epic, RED Scarlet, RED One, Sony F5 and F55, ARRI Amira, Panasonic AF100, Canon 5D and 7D, Canon C300 and C500.
Cine-Still lenses have been widely used on feature and documentary films, episodic television, nature and wildlife cinematography, webisodes and corporate and commercial production.
