DAM! Im going on trip to america next year. after looking at this footage I now can't wait.

purple fringing? I see a little of what u mean but its more like a blueish featherd look...... Id say check you monitor isn't on the way out. My CRT looks sweet. specialy for an image that hasn't had filters or any cc.

And i hope you dont ming Tom but Ive had a little play around with the images using Magic bullets looks suite...... Its all good. im not the best at cc or playing with a scene but I had a try....

Besides I have seen some good, some bad and some down right ugly footage fom the HVX. But Im buying the HVX202en PAL version here in AUSTRALIA. Why you ask?????

I seen a tyrailer shot on the HVX and I said to myself, If my images are half that good,,,,, im getten it.

I did the hike when I was 15 and WOW that place is just amazing. My father has done it a number of times and when he was a kid him and his brother did the 6 week passific rim hike. At least that Is what I think it is called. You can get loast in beauty up there.

It may be the camera settings, u did say you shot on auto didnt you?

yes everything was set to auto. all i did was push the red button.
