Hey all,
I was recently asked back to my high school to film their spirit week activities that lead up to their homecoming event. Every day during Spirit Week, the kids dress up in different themes and the classes (9th-12th grade) compete in various games. I used to produce these videos every year when I was in high school, so being asked back to do it again was quite nice (I loved my school). The videos are then played at the homecoming event as a recap of the week's festivities.
I realize 12 minutes is a bit of a steep running time, so you don't have to watch all of it (or any of it!), I just thought you all may be interested. I shot it completely on the AF100 using the kit lens, all very fast run and gun. This project made me realize just how much I love the AF for this kind of work. I was pretty happy with how the footage turned out, and the dynamic range on the outdoors stuff really impressed me, which is surprising considering I've owned the AF for a while. I thought I'd learned all it's tricks, and every time I shoot I still seem to learn something new! Let me know what ya'll think
