Looks phenomenal Vince!! You have definitly squeezed all the potential out of the HVX for sure, down to the last drop :) What where your lighting setups on the "Growing" spot?
 
i remember you showing me that lady bug spot last time, looks great. loved the other one as well. keep it up and keep on posting.

for lighting it really helped to have a location scout during some of the same time of the shoot...We where able to plan the dolly back from the kid as the sun set because we where there on location scout at the same time...and during mid day schedual Close ups and not huge wides...


lighting for the lady bug spot was all sun into shiny or mirror board sometimes through a 4x4 of opal...we did have an 8x8 silk up during mid day CU's

Both looked great! I think I saw the ladybug one somewhere on these forums awhile ago.

I see that you're a fan of strong backlight and soft side fill with a touch of the afternoon warmth! lol

What lenses did you use on these commercials? The out of focus highlights helped sell that "film look".
 
lenses....the growing spot we used my 90mm Macro With extension tubes to get the lady bug shots. a 14mm F2.8 on the dolly back form the kid... and we used the 50mm..

the one with the TVs we used a lot of really long lenes eather my 135mm F/2.8 or my 85mm 1.8 with a Doubller...mainly because behind them was a horible looking parking lot...we had a 12k and a couble 1200w HMIs on this spot as well as some shinys for background...

I downloaded the Arizona one...really impressive. Really nice work.

Just wondering why you posted these as Apple Animation codec and not something more downloadable friendly like H.264? Is there a link to a smaller file that I'm missing? I think you could get this to at least under 20MB and not lose very much. Not too many people are going to take the hour or so to see your piece if it's over half a gig.
 
yeah Im lazy the director just gave me these files ...and everyone wants higher rez stuff then the usual Utube stuff so I posted them...

and yes on my myspace theres a streaming versoin of the lady bug spot...and on Filefront there should be a streaming one of each

I just got introduced to Pro coder... any one recomend any setting for these?

oh and I have a new myspace home page love to know what people think about it...
