Watched the short. Not bad. Simple yet effective. Lots of coverage which is good. Only prob I saw was first time guy passes him, the eye of the main character is off(looking frame left). Threw the film off a little. The rest of the time the eye was correct.
Was it shot 24p advanced or normal? Scene File Settings?
you did such a good job building up the (scary) story that I totally forgot or simply didn't care about what camera you used, but the ending just left me hanging. maybe i just didn't understand it.
I had to control-click (right-click) on the link and save in order to view the link.
Actually Dan, the "not so steady" shots helped me relate better with the main character since he is not so proficient at skiing therefore shaky himself... ;D
Kind of a Twilighty Zone feel. The payoff wasn't what I was expecting; I needed some resolution on this one. A cute take but not worth it in the end. I wanted more!
I liked the hand-held Cinema Verite feel. That kind of technique adds an intimate suspense to the piece. Nicely exposed and plenty of coverage.
Perhaps more music could have helped this? I look forward to more work from you!
Hey, I liked it, Except I think you could have gone some where with it, like it seemed like it had a real good build up but then you ended it. I think it could have had some spooky like ending, but good job.
