So a while back I posted about these "Ghost Whisperer" webisodes I did post supervision on. Well, I geeked out and got an AppleTV and naturally, I wanted to check out everything I could get my hands on on it.
I was quite impressed with the quality on my HDTV. It feels really good to have a solution where I can start with a camera I have, and end up watching HD on a TV I own - no tape in the middle!
I published this VODcast feed with the trailer we did for Ghost Whisperer: The Other side in 720p24p so that you guys can check it out. Keep in mind, this was one of my first attempts, I used sorenson squeeze with their stock 720p MP4 setting, then knocked the bitrate down just a tad to keep it under 5mBit for the AppleTV. Oddly, using the Sorenson MP4, then opening and resaving as a .MOV through quicktime works much better than using Sorenson's Quicktime setting with MP4 as the codec. Why? Because with Squeeze 4.5 the Mp4 setting uses Apple AVC, which is the best I have seen so far. Takes forver though!
So without further ado, here is a free minute of HD content for your AppleTV:

Just click and it should just start loading into iTunes as a VODcast!
