Here we go......First Wedding...

Not bad at all - actually really good. If I were you I would be confident that they will enjoy it. A few things *I* didnt care for - the quick cuts when she was taking pictures with her family. They were too quick compared to the rest of the edit (which looked great btw). There was a shot post ceremony where you zoomed in a few times kinda quick. The final shot looked great, but if you can I would edit out the zooms that got you there. Maybe keep the last zoom in, but the zoom, stop, zoom, stop, seemed home movieish. I'd tweak the audio on the people at the end. They just arent clear enough. I know you didnt have an external mic, but I think it could be tweaked to be a little clearer still - or at least just louder, or the music a bit quieter. And those wouldnt be my choices in songs, but thats a pretty personal thing and you know the bride and groom so stick with them. They worked well, they just werent my thing, but its not my wedding so who cares. Nice work though - I think your earned your keep and they got a pretty good deal.
 
I agree. Well said - more of a video montage than an actual wedding video, but something that they can enjoy aesthetically regardless. Pictures are worth a thousand words after all. Maybe you're onto something..

Hey, some good stuff there, nice angles you got on a few of the shots!

I wanted to see some of the reception though! And if there's no footage of that, I would have made the wedding part a tad shorter, and yeah, as jdajda said above, the music was a bit slow for me, but that's definitely a personal thing, but overall good work, and I am sure they'll like it!

HA HA... I did notice that actually... just make sure every video you do you mix it up, and do each one different in style... makes it more fun, I think, and it keeps things fresh.
 
thats wut im worried about, since im so good at this stuff and im amazing, and im exspecting to get 400 calls in the next for me to film there wedding, i was afraid of having the same video for every person lol


(im kidding, about the bragging part)
 
Thought it was really good....I agree with what their saying with some of the fast cuts....Did you CC on a few scenes or all of them? I could tell a few were CC'ed....They should really enjoy it...

Was the second song by Belle & Sebastian? Good work!
 
belle and sebastion ya, i was gunna use movie ending romance, but this song worked much better....and i only cced 3, the first two, and the one near the end, you can really tell (i just contrasted it, the closeup of thre faces)
 
watch out - they've probably got friends getting married and will be telling them about this great video that they got for only $110! I'd give em $20 just to be quiet about how much it cost them so you can charge the next couple a couple hundred or something. People will talk and I would almost bet you start getting calls to do more. Maybe not 400, but a few. I made a boring website for my dog and sent it to a bunch of friends and co-workers and all of the sudden instead of "cool site" they came back with - oh you can make a web page? I've gotten a good six websites just from people seeing one crappy one I know longer have time to update. Oh well.
 
haha ,ya it was actually 130, i counted wrong..stupid me lol...but i wanna make some buisness cards and such...

i was planning on about 200 for my next wedding
