Please help, we recorded our footage with the xd cam ex1, standard setting. I then transferred the material with the xdcam transfertool into quicktime. It has the weirdest noise. (if you look at the image you can see this structure, especially in the dark parts, it looks as if it was snowing or something) Can anyone tell me if it is a problem with my final cut pro or if the original footage is faulty?( exposure, shutter speed etc)?
please see enclosed image, we shot it at F13, Shutterspeed 1000, Gain Zero.
Would be thankful for the help!
thanks
Raymond

not sure, but first of all, NEVER EVER go above f8. Preferably f5.6. you will get extremely noticeable image degradation, diffraction, and ugly ugly images and loss of sharpness
