Help with simultaneous SDI/HDMI

I did the 1.1 firmware update last month but on my shoot last week I could not feed the SDI out to a monitor if I had the EVF plugged in to HDMI. Can somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong? Is it a menu thing that I don't have activated? I am coming out of the single SDI port, not the dual (no S log upgrade). Big shoot tomorrow--on dolly track---gotta have multiple monitors on set. Thanks.
 
Have you gone in to the menu under the "Video Set" tab and switched "SDI/HDMI/i.Link I/O Select:" to "HD SDI & HDMI"?
 
Set you camera to output HD HDMI and use the HDMI for you EVF. Plug SDI into A SDI output. That always streams 1080PHappy shootingN
 
Yes. And once I confirmed with you that that was right, I discovered it to be a Cineroid quirky hdmi input issue. I connected to another hdmi monitor and I am good to go! Seems to be no service center for Cineroid, btw. grrrrrr. Hotrod sold it to me, no rsvp. Should've waited for the Zacuto, I guess. Thank you!
 
Another thing. If your shooting 1080 23.98 you need to have a pulldown for 59.94 on, not 23.98 PSF on output. The HDMI needs that to see picture. The A output will be 23.98 PSF
 
thanks for the reminder about the pulldown--i believe that was the Other issue last week. I really appreciate all the advice, guys.
