help with setup od cf 64gb card for 5d mk II

hey guys i just got a cf card 64gb topram card 600x writes at 50 mb so its good but when I formated the card it tells me it has 999 pictures now my 8gb card gives me 675 pictures so the math does not add up same wth video my 8gb card gives me 10 minutes so I think a 64gb should give me 1 hour and 20 minutes?? the firm ware on the camera is version 2.0.8 can I do something so the camera reads the full 64 gb??

The camera reads all 64gb, but the display can't display past 999 as there's only room for 3 digits on the LCD in that area. You'll be able to shoot and fill all 64gb full of images or video.
