So, I have to write a paper using metaphorical criticism about a movie and I am coming to you guys for suggestions.
I was originally going to use requiem for a dream and argue that the drug habits are a metaphor for more personal and corruptive addictions, and that by taking advantage of the use of metaphor the director was able to persuade the audience and appeal to their emotions in order to get them to understand his message.
However, that movie has been used and apparently I cannot do it. So, ANY movies with metaphors in their lines and some overarching metaphor or anything along those lines is what I'm looking for.
Let me know if you have any good ideas!
