help with possible broken anamorphic lens...

Hello, we had just purchased our anamorphic lens for the DVX and after toying around with it for a few hours we couldn't take it off. Our cinematographer kept at it and after much frustration the lens came off but it came apart. The plastic parts seperated. Our cinematographer freaked out and tried to put it back together and it seemed to snap back in place. But I took a look at it this morning and it looks like there's two little screws missing. It looks flimsy, I'm scared to put it back on the camera. Has anyone had this problem? Now that I look closer it might not even have had screws, I think it's just welded plastic that holds it together??? Maybe crazy glue will help but I'd hate to put glue on this thing. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated. Also, is there a secret to putting it on and taking it off? Thanks.

I would give 16X9 a call in Burbank California. They are the Chroziel agent and I believe they had someone modifying the anamorphics to use with their mattebox. That person should be able to take care of the problem. At our Van Nuys office, we have disassembled and cleaned a couple units, and could undoubtedly repair it (assuming it is repairable) but I would expect that 16X9 would be extremely familar with the panasonic anamorph.
