help with new wireless.

I just got a wireless for the dvx... using the XLR plug input #1... the audio from the lav is coming over ch.1 and then ambient sound over the onboard mic in ch.2... my question is how do i get the wireless to go over both ch.1 and ch.2? The salesman said I may need a Y plug to spread the audio over both 1 and 2.... Anybody help?

Plug it into Input#2 and then select input#2 for both channels. Input #1 can only be selected for one (the left I believe).

That's correct. Another thing to consider is making the gain on one channel a little lower than the other -- that way you'll have some clipping protection in case the speaker gets really loud at some point.
