Just got my new DVX from B&H Photo. The box says AG-DVX100BP S. B&H is closed. Please tell me this is NTSC, not PAL!!!! My invoice and order don't have the PS on the item number.

Thanks!

Thanks. I couldn't stand it and opened it anyway. The manual says 24p / 30P, so i thought i was ok. But thanks for the response. Can't wait to give it a try!

Opening it is the best feeling in the world, especially if you have never even held a dvx before. The quality of everything is really surprising.

That's for sure! I was like a kid at Christmas. A major step up for this amateur. I've been shooting my son's sports for 4 or 5 years with a little GS-150. I decided to treat myself. Now I've got to learn how to use this baby. It will be a killer to wait for Barry's book (part of the rebate). I shot my first baseball game today with the DVX and have a million questions, but I'll read up first. I captured the footage and it looks a little washed out, at first glance, on the computer. Guess my first task is to learn to use that zebra? I'll export some clips to the Apple TV in the morning to check it out. You should have heard the oohs and aahs when I pulled out the DVX today. All the parents were asking, Are we gonna be on the news? Are you going pro? I just laughed... it is Nice!
