Help with Nano

Either I am too tired or I totally forgot how to operate this thing. So how come my camera says that the REC format is PH1080/24P yet the Nanoflash is recording 1080i 59?
 
Because the camera outputs using 2:3 pulldown so that's what the Nano sees. If you put your camera into HD-SDI 24PsF mode, the Nano will record it as 1080p/23
 
thanks Barry...got it now. By the way, how about the trigger record? That is set in the Nano? jeez I just used this thing 4 weeks ago...was i smoking?
 
You go into the system menu and set the record to timecode trigger. Then you have to have your AF100 set in rec run.
