Hi guys,

I have been using a Novoflex adapter (EOS/NIK) w/ my Canon 5D Mkii and Nikon 50mm f/1.8 AIS lens for a couple of months now – with excellent results. Problem is... I can't get the adapter off my Nikon lens! The instructions from the adapter's manual are to take the setup off the 5D and then unmount the adapter from the lens. It won't move! Do you have any recommendations on how to do it?

thanks,

Sometimes these adapters can be a little problem prone. Mine has a little spring that you have to pull up on to get it to release, then you can rotate it. Post some pics of what it looks like and maybe we can help you some more. OK?

(Sheesh....French women) :) ...come on....that was a joke.

edit:
(Sheesh....Italian women) :) ...now you KNOW I'm kidding.

But seriously...post some pics of the adapter/setup.

There's a little latch on all mine that you slide in the direction you turn the adapter to get it off.

Exactly! I'm not saying that there isn't, but it is HIGHLY UNLIKELY that it doesn't have a latch, unless you paid 5 bucks for it. (There are some VERY CHEAP versions that don't have a latch...and they can 'over rotate'...and get stuck on the mirror) Good luck!
