F5: Help with Fujinon Cabrio 19-90mm lens and Sony F5 needed please!

Hello. I've hired a Cabrio lens for a week for a job next week - lens just arrived. Just mounted onto my F5 (which has latest firmware V3) - but the servo, rec button on the lens isn't doing anything. I though it would work straight away. Is there something I need to activate in the cameras menu to recognise the lens? Thanks, Sparky
 
Sorry - just worked it out. If you were wondering - fgo into the menu - CAMERA - LENS INTERFACE - switch to setting: TYPE C+12P
 
Good thing you didn't select TYPE C+11A. That causes the Cabrio to rocket off the camera like a misfired Roman candle. But seriously...some of these menu settings! Insanity inducing. thanks for sharing.
 
Keep the lens cap on, let it run through it's calibration, pull the cover off the front of the servo- you'll see a green LED. When the LED turns off the lens is ready for use.
If you need to reset the lens, reboot the camera with the VTR and RET buttons pressed on the lens and let it run through its setup again.
