Help with filmlike

Hi, I'm new here, and also a newcomer with my dvx100b. I'm pretty amazed whith this cam. I saw here that are many filmlike posibilities like Cinegamma or others I don't rememeber. Where can I find them in my camera? Do I have to buy them and install those settings?

I also noticed the screw of the lenshood is very tight, how can I remove it in order to place a wide angle or the telephoto?

Thank you very much.

The best way to learn the looks you are looking for is to be constantly experimenting with the settings in camera. Adjust the settings accordingly, then checkem in post & you will become familiar with the types of different looks that the cam can achieve.

I recommend Barry's DVX book. I read it entirely in one night and return to it for quick reference when needed. That in conjuction with the users manual & you will be very proficient in no time.

As far as the lens hood screw is concerned, it should not be to tight to remove. Just give it a good counter clock wise turn and she should give no probs.
