Help with creating scenefile

I'm looking to make some scene files to use with my HVX200, and I'm looking to get a specifice look for them.. I'd like to get similar looks to things I've seen in films I like. The one I can thinnk of off the top of my head would be a blue-ish look, similar to the look of this scene from Terminator 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU5Nijg51wQ&feature=related

Anyone have anything tips to help me out???

Thanks

ive found that in most cases its wiser to achieve these kinds of looks in post rather than in camera.

wgzn is right i think. i am not a pro cinematographer, as wgzn should know by now from my recent post asking about lenses :p, but i have heard from much more experienced folks that starting with a well-lit, solid base of footage you then go back in post and create the 'look' you want. i did shoot a short film with that philosophy and it worked pretty well for me.

not to say that it cant be done. or that in several cases it wouldnt be the better way to go. but in my experience, if a person has to ask this question, i would doubt that they have the overall knowledge to manage the process well (no offense intended, as id often lump myself into the category) and what if half way through production you get another cool style idea - then youre stuck with this over styled source footage that may or not be able to be modified...

None taken, I completely agree with the suggestion of creating the effect in post rather than via the use of a scenefile. I never really looked at it that way I suppose..
