Help with converting files from DIVX

Where would I go for help with converting files to windows from a mac that i uploaded my video from my DIVX camera?

Right now I am attempting to convert them to AVI but they playback in slow motion. Any help for this would be much appreciated.

DIVX camera? Do you mean DVX?

DV QT files captured on a Mac should work fine on a PC. Any NLE will accept them without having to convert. If you are really worried, you can just recapture the footage.

Yes, I meant DVX - I thought that windows would play the Quicktime files fine as well but they show up as read only files. I can convert them into MPEG, AVI, WMP etc with a converter but the playback freezes up. Any solutions?

What are you going to do with these files? Edit them? They should import into any NLE without a problem. From there you can export out to native DV-AVI files. It sounds like whatever conversion program you are using isn't that great.

Ok, perhaps the conversion program I am using isn't good. Can you suggest one that is?

Like I said, what are you planning to do with the footage? I don't see a reason why you need to convert it at all.
