Help with a camera

[Bobbyisstrange]

I'm looking to shoot some nice quality YouTube documentaries and I was wondering if someone can give me advice on the best camera for a budget of about 1800-2000. I am not looking for a DSLR. I was thinking about the Cannon XA10 or the Sony HXR-NX30. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

The upcoming Canon Vixia HF G30 and the XA20 are both due to become available in June. They both will have outstanding features. Can you wait that long?

Canon Vixia HF G30 for list price of $1,699, available June 30th:

Canon XA20 for list price of $2,499, available June 15th:

However, street price on the XA20 is only $2,199:

If you can afford $2,495, the Canon XF100 is a good option, as its price has now gone down to that:

By far the best value of them all, however, is the new Panasonic AG-AC90, which offers full professional style manual controls, and is now down to only $1,739:

If you want the most for your money, it is the one that I would recommend getting:
