Help....using Xpress Pro for camcorder.

I have no idea how to go about getting my video onto my comp through Avid Xpress Pro....
I have digitized BetaSP tapes using Avid on MAC....but now I am using PC so I need to know how to do this, I tried it with Ulead VideoStudio and that worked kinda, but I want to know how to do it on Avid.....
What do I click, how do I set it up??

Thanks for any help you can give......
I can't seem to find any tutorials on how to do this, so I hope to get an answer here.

I am assuming you are using a DV camera? Connect the camera to the CPU via FireWire. I am aslo assuming you are using a DV editing product from Avid - Xpress DV or XPress Pro? You do not say in your posting.

Once connected, launch the Avid DV eiting product and go to the deck configurations. Set up the conenction to the camera as per the user guide. Channel is whether the camera is connected directly to the CPU or via Avid hardware. The select a deck/camera by selecting the manufacturer and model. Cick apply. Go to capture mode and make sure your input (top of screen under the track display) is set to DV.

There you go.

how do I set up my camera....

the capture feature is greyed out for this reason probably....
I don't have the user guide because it was thrown out (not purposely)

i bought the xpress pro 4.3 upgraded version and in all the stuff i got also came a card and code telling to go to avid.com and download the updater dongle i did but i dont have internet on my computer so i was unable to do it. how else can i do it. although in program i saw an icon that said dongle updater and i clicked on it and it said it was updated was that the same thing avid wanted me to do will it give me the 4.5 version.
