Help! Use dvx to duplicate a tape?

I need to make copies of 3 tapes for tomorrow, I have a cheap panasonic consumer cam (PV-GS300) which has the usb out port, can I get a cable (which one) and dub a tape to the dvx or vice versa? can I load an entire tape on to a hard drive at once in FCP or is there a better option? Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

GS300 HAS a firewire port on top of the USB one - it's hidden under a rubber cover. you can use a 4pin-4pin cable to dub the tapes between the cameras.
