HELP Updated firmware....brightness changes automatically?

So I just got my 5d Mkii. Updated the firmware to 1.1.0

Slapped on my Nikon 85mm 1.4, went into live view mode and hit record.

For some reason, whenever I record or just preview, the image looks like the camera is adjusting exposure automatically, even though I have the iris on my manual lens wide open.

What am I doing wrong?

I think you have to switch on movie display?....saw a similar question on cinema5D

just checked yep it's movie display

make sure auto white balance is off too

Wrong mode, or the LCD is adjusting its brightness automatically.
