Help! Trying to "Print to tape" with HVX200 and Final Cut Pro.

Hey everyone,

Here's my setup:
HVX200, MacBook Pro running Final Cut Pro 6

So here's my dilemma. I've got footage I shot onto P2 with the HVX200. It's 480i/30p. I logged and transferred all the footage DV NTSC. Looks great.

Now, I'm trying to take this same unedited footage in a sequence and Print to Tape using the HVX200 as a deck hooked up via firewire to my MacBook Pro.

When the camera is in VTR mode (and set to Tape), I can get the sequence video (but no audio) to show up on the LCD. But there's like no way to press record. And when I switch it to Camera mode, all I get is what comes through the lens.

Am I completely missing something here? Is there some magical setting on the HVX that I need to set to make this work? Does this camera not do this?

Can anyone shed any light on this for me??

Did you check the little box at the bottom of the Print to Video screen that says "Automatically start recording"?
For the audio issue, go to the View Menu > Audio Playback > Audio follows video.
